THE GRAND CANYON TOUR

Our first stop is Cameron Trading Post, which has been a Grand Canyon lodging haven for travelers, traders, vacationers and explorers who come from all points of the globe for nearly a century. Just 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon National Park entrance, their location is ideal for Grand Canyon hotel and lodging accommodations. But the Cameron Trading Post is more than an Indian lodge or Grand Canyon hotel. Established in 1916, the Cameron Indian Trading Post has become a showplace for fine Native American art and Southwest art.

The unique central location of the Cameron Trading Post's Grand Canyon lodging is perfect for exploring the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, and Native American Indian Country, but there is much to see right here. The Gallery, with its beautiful and unique Native American Indian decor, houses some of the finest Native American Indian art in the Southwest, both contemporary and antique Indian art. The Gift Shop offers a wide selection of Southwest art, Native American art, and Southwestern decor. Visitors are surprised to find the suspension bridge spanning the Little Colorado River Gorge - the river pathway to the Grand Canyon - behind their hotel lodge and delighted at the view. Charming Gardens also are an unexpected pleasure. Inside the Indian lodge you can grab a snack in the Market or sit down to a meal in The Restaurant which boasts antique furnishings, a huge fire place, and a beautiful pressed tin ceiling. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the restaurant offers the perfect respite to enjoy your meal surrounded by antique luxury, beautiful Native American Southwest art, and the view of the Little Colorado River Gorge outside the windows.

Second Stop is Grand Canyon National Park: After Cameron Trading Post, we will tour along the 22 mile south rim making frequent stops at the breathtaking canyon overlooks for photo opportunities. Next up is a stop at the Grand Canyon Lodge. There will be time to refresh and shop. We stop for dinner on return trip.
